Why do we stuff?

There are as many reasons to stuff as there are foods to enjoy.

Some people stuff because the food is just that good. Yes, it does happen, you as a foodie, find yourself with a gargantuan plate of the most primo meal you've ever tasted in your life, and you're so taken by it you just keep eating. Bite after bite finds it way into your mouth and filling up your belly until the entire plate is gone and you're stuffed. You meant to stop, but you couldn't - it would have been sacrilegious to put that meal in a doggy-bag. (I've been there before. It's ok, you're in good company.) Basically, some people stuff because they just love food. If this is you, I've got a pantry full of gourmet food waiting for a master chef to develop new recipes with. And just so you know, I'm the master chef.

Some stuffers partake in this hobby because the feeling of being full is satisfactory to them (in a lot of cases it can be sexual). They will eat or drink until it is impossible to fit anymore in there, and then they eat some more. His or her belly bulges outwardly and round, and even though it's clearly growing it's actually getting tighter and tighter with each bite. Feeling the pressure build and build in the abdomen and the stretch of the skin and stomach. That, to some, is absolutely irrefutably euphoric. If this is you I would recommend trying out some bloating practices.

Some big eaters eat because they have the desire to eat. They cannot help themselves, they see food and must have. It's easy to spot these people: they're the ones always grazing at the buffet table during the office Christmas party. (That's right, I saw you, but it's okay I don't judge - you were just so cute doing it: call me!) The grazers may not be aiming for anything other than they have a desire to eat, but you get a grazer around enough food and they will end up stuffing in probably what is one of the most satisfactory of all stuffings: the slow stuff. If this is you I think it's about time you accepted your subconscious desire to stuff and just dive right in.

Stuffing and gaining go hand in hand. If you have a high metabolism you may not gain from stuffing, but that will change... Trust me, I know. A lot of people stuff themselves in order to get fat. Yes, world. I know your dirty little secret. Or shall I say: big soft secret. For these individuals stuffing is not necessarily the objective, but rather a means to an ends. I wouldn't be surprised if 99 % of them found the stuffed feeling euphoric as well though. If you stuff because your goal is to become fat I would recommend stuffing on a lot of junk foods and carbs. If you're goal is to get a large belly stuff daily and stretch that sucker out. If your goal is to grow more in body fat and remain fairly even then I recommend small stuffings of fatty junk foods throughout the day as to fill yourself to satisfaction without stretching the stomach while adding some pounds. Of course if you wanna go all out and break a record or something combine the two, and just eat all the time.

Eating from depression. Don't. I am very passionate about stuffing, and eating, and food; these are some of my greatest joys however I do not recommend stuffing as a way to combat depression. When people get depressed they reach for the comfort foods, and they'll continue eating until they are full. You may feel better at first, but it will quickly wear off. Stuffing is an activity that I partake in because I enjoy it, and generally I do more of it when I am happy. If you are depressed and stuffing seems to be the only thing that works, find yourself a hobby that will give you something to create instead of consume, and once you're spirits are lifted then have at it because stuffing when you're happy is a million times better than when your sad.

I could go on and on and on, but I'm not.

There's a comment link down there somewhere: tell me why you stuff.

Ladies and gents (especially the foodies) this one's for you:
How does a whole pot of Poblano Garden Alfredo sound about right now? I'm thinkin' it's what's for dinner.

Let's Get Started!

Some of you know me, some of you don't. You've probably seen me in the past on Youtube (I no longer post there). You may have seen me on FF (I still post there). For those of you who do know me you know how I can stuff. 2 Pizzas and 6 beers is nothing to be gawked at, and lets not forget the 18 lbs of food I consumed during an all day Christmas stuffing!

For those of you who don't know me, yes, I am that good.

Am I stuffing while I write this? Yes, as a matter of fact I am. 2 lbs of stuffed mushrooms. They're delicious and yummy, and not too bad for you either, but if you've never stuffed before I suggest starting out a little differently.

Do not stuff on only one thing.

Too much of the same thing will make you sick. Even water. It is important then, as a beginner if you are, to start out with small stuffings or to vary what it is you are in-taking. Once you know your limits you might be able to pick it up just a bit the next time. But, even some veteran stuffers must vary the ingredients of their feast. The purpose of stuffing is to enjoy yourselves and not make yourselves ill.

Now, if you'll excuse me I see some uneaten mushrooms that are begging to fill me up.

Bon appetit!
